Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic with rotor experience to support our EC145 base. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and alterations on Company aircraft and ensure documentation complies with FARs and company procedures.

The role requires an FAA A&P license, on-call availability, and 25–50% travel. You will work closely with PICs and maintenance teams to maintain airworthiness and safety across operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years of related experience or equivalent
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
• FAR 135 operations preferred and relevant certifications

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components following procedures and regulations
• Verifies part numbers and serial numbers match documentation
• Ensures all maintenance documentation complies with FARs and company procedures
• Participates in Safety Management System (SMS)
• Maintains a clean, professional work area
• Communicates maintenance issues to Pilot in Command
• Manages Status Report data for aircraft
• Requests parts to maintain inventory
• Other duties as assigned
