Job summary

Oshkosh Aerotech is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician Level II to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on airport facility systems and controls at our Houston site. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and electrical skills, is adept at documenting activities in CMMS, and can operate safely in a dynamic aviation environment.

Day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays, are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• 3+ years' experience in equipment and maintenance operations.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability to work day or night shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility systems and controls.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions in the CMMS.
• Execute reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including emergency response.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system failures and determine corrective actions.
• Communicate critical equipment conditions and maintenance updates to the Site Manager.
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and work orders to perform service tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, motor controls, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, VFDs, and other components.
• Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to AOA Maintenance Technician I employees as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and collaborate within a diverse team.
