Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician Level II to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on airport operations systems. The role emphasizes reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance with documentation in CMMS and strong mechanical/electrical skills.

You will diagnose failures, interpret blueprints, and communicate critical conditions to the Site Manager, ensuring minimal downtime and safety compliance in a dynamic aviation environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in equipment and maintenance operations.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability to work day or nightshift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility systems and controls.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions in the CMMS.
• Execute reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including emergency response.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Promptly communicate critical equipment conditions, operational impacts, and maintenance updates to the Site Manager.
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and work orders to perform required service tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment failures to minimize operational downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, motor controls, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, VFDs, and other mechanical and electrical components.
• Assist with identifying root causes of recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to Maintenance Technician I employees as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
