Job summary

Apollo MedFlight in Ruston, LA is hiring an Aviation Maintenance Technician to maintain rotor-wing aircraft and support EMS missions. The role requires an A&P certificate and 2+ years of rotor-wing experience, with Bell 407 experience preferred.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance, approving returns to service, and documenting all work. A 40-hour week with a 14 on/14 off schedule is offered, plus 22,000 annual stipend and guaranteed pay.

Qualifications

• Two+ years rotor wing experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• A&P Certificate (2+ years) required.
• Bell 407 experience preferred; EMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in maintenance and repairs on rotor-wing aircraft assigned.
• Approve aircraft for return to service after maintenance.
• Report inoperative or faulty equipment to the Director of Maintenance.
• Complete all maintenance paperwork accurately.
• Maintain hangar, workshops and areas in an orderly manner.
• Assist in maintaining technical manuals in current status.
• Maintain a tool kit adequate for tasks.
• Participate in CRM techniques and support operations decisions.
• Represent the company to customers and patients professionally.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 80 pounds.
