Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in O'Fallon, MO is hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain our rotor-wing fleet and support timely, high-quality patient transport services.

The role requires 2+ years turbine helicopter experience, A&P license, FAA knowledge, HS diploma, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Starting salary is $65,239–$113,480 annually with stipends and a $12,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience required.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid State driver’s license.
• FAA regulations knowledge and EMS/maintenance systems familiarity.
• Ability to work overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including inspections, repairs and status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking logs.
• Document FAA information and adhere to policies and security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members for efficient operations.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health, safety personnel and operations team.
