Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an aircraft mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations on company-operated aircraft in a Bell 407 maintenance facility. You will ensure all maintenance is compliant with FARs, manuals, and company procedures while supporting continuous improvement of safety and reliability.

The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on experience, an active FAA A&P license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of related experience.
• Active/current FAA A&P license required.
• FAR 135 operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs in accordance with maintenance procedures and applicable regulations.
• Verifies part numbers and serials against documentation.
• Ensures maintenance documentation complies with FARs and manuals.
• Participates in the Safety Management System (SMS) program.
• Keeps work area clean and professional.
• Advises PIC of issues affecting aircraft status.
• Requests parts to maintain inventory and readiness.
• Travel 10–25% and live within an hour of the base.
