Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic at the Bullhead City, AZ facility to maintenance, repair, inspect, and alter company aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

Rotor experience with Bell 407s is preferred; the role requires on-call availability nights, weekends, and holidays, and periodic travel (25–50%). You will work with ERP systems (Ramco) and Microsoft Office while ensuring documentation accuracy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years related experience
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
• FAR 135 operations preferred
• FAA A&P license in good standing

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components per procedures and regulations
• Verify part numbers and serial numbers against documentation after installation or removal
• Ensure all maintenance docs comply with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) and related processes
• Maintain a clean, professional work area and address safety issues as directed
• Advise Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that affect aircraft availability
• Validate data in Status Report for the aircraft worked on
• Request aviation parts to maintain inventory for prompt repairs
• Other duties as assigned
