Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing seeks an experienced Technical Supervisor to lead a skilled team of aviation technicians, oversee daily maintenance and repairs, and ensure technicians have the tools, materials, and data needed to work safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong aviation maintenance knowledge, quality and safety focus, and the ability to mentor staff while coordinating with the Repair Station Team to meet schedules and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising aviation technicians.
• Hands-on leadership in a fast-paced repair station.
• Strong knowledge of aviation maintenance standards.
• Proficiency with Quantum Control and MS 365.
• Able to lead audits and regulatory inspections.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of aviation technicians.
• Ensure technicians have tools, materials, equipment, and technical data to perform work.
• Conduct inspections per manuals, procedures, and quality standards.
• Train, coach, and mentor technicians on maintenance procedures and safety.
• Coordinate with Repair Station Team to manage scheduling, materials, workflow, and task completion.
• Monitor production progress and escalate issues affecting delivery.
• Manage overtime to support production and customer commitments.
• Support customer visits, audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Promote teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive, high-performing work environment.
