Job summary

Premier Private Jets in Vandalia, OH, seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the 145 repair station for jets, turboprops, and pistons. You will manage safety, quality, P&L, scheduling, and cross-department staffing with a focus on on-time delivery of maintenance projects.

The role requires a strong aviation management background, 10+ years in the field, an A&P license, and preference for IA certification and a Bachelor’s degree. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Aviation Management.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Jet & Turboprop Airframe & Powerplant.
• A&P license required; IA certification preferred.
• Experience with FAA 145 Repair Station standards & operations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong English reading/writing; able to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day safe and quality-oriented operations of the 145 repair station.
• Manage P&L, work scope determination, quotes, and staffing across maintenance, avionics, interiors, paint, and FBO.
• Ensure profitability and on-time delivery of aircraft projects.
• Lead and train junior mechanics; supervise performance and PTO approvals.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, OSHA, EPA directives and internal QA processes.
• Coordinate with QA, Parts Department, and management to preserve parts and paperwork.
