Liberty University seeks an Aviation Maintenance Technician Instructor to develop and maintain the FAA‑approved 14 CFR Part 147 curriculum and instruct students across classroom, lab, and shop settings. Under the Director, you will prepare lessons for Airframe and Powerplant and manage hands-on labs to ensure FAA compliance and accurate attendance tracking.

You will oversee lab technicians, evaluate student performance, and assist in acquiring training materials and equipment.

Qualificações

• FAA mechanic certification with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• Experience in aviation maintenance field or equivalent in commercial mission or military environment.
• College degree (4 year) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Instruct students in 14 CFR Part 147 required Airframe and Power Plant Certification course including classroom lectures.
• Lead and direct students in hands-on lab projects with demonstrations and supervision.
• Evaluate and grade student performance and maintain FAA attendance records.
• Prepare 14 CFR Part 147 course lessons, training aids and equipment for demonstration to students.
• Research and order training materials, advise on equipment purchases, supervise lab technicians.
