Job summary

Liberty University School of Aeronautics seeks a part-time flight instructor to deliver flight training, simulator, and ground instruction in accordance with FAA regulations and the LUSOA manuals. You will prepare schedules, maintain records, and ensure course standards and objectives are met for each student.

You will monitor progress, enforce safety, stay current with training programs, contribute to curriculum development, and support the Director of Flight Operations with special projects

Qualifications

• FAA Part 141 flight evaluations required.
• Current Third Class FAA Medical Certificate required.
• CFII/MEI advanced training encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide flight training and mentorship per FOM and TCO.
• Schedule students, monitor progress, and complete course requirements.
• Maintain records, logbooks, and final grades accurately.
• Promote safety and ensure aircraft are airworthy and compliant.
• Support curriculum development and special projects.
