AIM - Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Las Vegas is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Instructors to teach FAA Part 147-aligned curriculum in classroom and hangar environments. The position includes a 5-day paid instructor training program, opportunities to mentor students, and collaboration with veterans and experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Military aviation experience preferred
• Civilian FAA A&P certification required
• Ability to translate hands-on aircraft maintenance experience into classroom instruction

Responsibilities

• Teach FAA Part 147-aligned aviation maintenance curriculum in classroom and hangar environments
• Deliver hands-on instruction to students
• Mentor students preparing for Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) careers
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, and progress
• Support curriculum updates and work with program leadership
• Create a structured, safety-focused learning environment
