Job summary

Contour Airlines in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Manager of Maintenance Control to lead the maintenance control function, supervise staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance for all aircraft operations. You will monitor performance, coordinate with dispatch, and oversee MEL/CDL procedures.

The role requires a strong leadership background, FAA knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and knowledge of FAA rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and compliance in aircraft operations.
• Monitor maintenance performance for scheduled and unscheduled ops.
• Coordinate with Flight Followers/Dispatch on maintenance issues.
• Administer MEL/CDL/NEF procedures per manuals.
• Lead and train Maintenance Controllers as required.
• Maintain 24/7 staffing coverage for the operation.
• Authorize Ferry Flights and MEL Extensions.
• Record data in maintenance information software.
• Ensure proper documentation of work performed on aircraft.
• Collaborate with regional managers and providers on issues.
