Job summary

Jet Excellence is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Controller to join our charter operations. This dual-role position combines maintenance planning with hands-on mechanic work to ensure fleet readiness and safety.

You will oversee day-to-day maintenance, coordinate with operations, monitor aircraft status in real-time, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• FAA regulations knowledge and compliance with maintenance manuals
• Strong communication and organizational skills under pressure
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations of the fleet
• Support the DOM with assigned tasks
• Monitor aircraft status in real-time, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with operations to optimize aircraft availability and minimize disruptions
• Analyze maintenance data to forecast issues and implement preventative measures
• Communicate with the FAA as needed
