Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Machine Operator in Owego, NY, for a weekend shift (Thu-Sun, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM). You will operate light-duty bench and floor-type machines and set up equipment to support aerospace component production with precision and safety.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, inspecting parts with gauges and measuring tools, following SPC and quality procedures, and collaborating with the team to meet production goals in a clean, safe, and organized work

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities

Operate light-duty bench and floor-type machine tools and equipment.
Set up machines and make operational adjustments.
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Inspect finished work using gauges, jigs, fixtures, and precision measuring tools.
Verify products meet close-tolerance specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with team to support production goals and continuous improvement.
