A high school diploma is required, and FAA guidelines must be followed. The candidate should have 4+ years in a machine shop or FAA repair environment and be capable of reading blueprints and gauges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of experience in a machine shop or part 145 repair station preferred.
• Proficient in reading machine dial gauges, blueprints and precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Reviews job/production orders and interprets prints to determine requirements.
• Sets up machines to perform required operations.
• Operates machines to fabricate components and structures.
• Monitors machine performance and output for quality.
• Maintains clean and safe work area and adheres to FAA guidelines.
