Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Driver/Shipping & Receiving Clerk to ensure safe movement of materials, shipments, and personnel within the Tampa facility. This role blends shipping/receiving with shuttle driving duties, ensuring accurate delivery and maintained inventory.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of logistics experience, and a valid driver's license. Expect a 2nd shift with a $2.00 shift differential and opportunities for growth and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, transportation, or related experience.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and barcode scanning systems.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and accurately verify counts and quantities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport employees safely between designated parking areas and the facility at the beginning and end of assigned shifts.
• Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation.
• Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Route incoming materials and products to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records using scanning and computer systems.
• Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and packaging materials.
• Support the handling, movement, and shipment of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and transportation providers to ensure efficient material flow.
