Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Driver / Shipping & Receiving Clerk to move materials and personnel safely within our Tampa facility. The role combines shipping/receiving duties with shuttle driving to ensure accurate deliveries and proper inventory control.

You will load and unload, verify shipments, maintain records, and work with internal teams and vendors to keep materials flowing smoothly. A High school diploma and 1+ year of related experience are expected; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or related experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Transport employees safely between parking areas and facility at shift start/end.
• Receive, inspect, count, and verify shipments against PO, invoice, and docs.
• Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments for timely delivery.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and hand trucks.
• Route incoming materials to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies.
• Assist with hazardous materials handling per regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and transport providers.
