Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC seeks a Driver / Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Tampa to support the safe and efficient movement of materials and employees, combining shipping/receiving duties with shuttle driving.

You will inspect inbound shipments, prepare outgoing consignments, operate forklifts and handling equipment, maintain records, and coordinate with teams to ensure timely deliveries and safe transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or related experience.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and barcode scanning systems.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and verify counts and quantities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport employees between parking areas and facility at start and end of shifts.
• Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming shipments against PO, invoices, and shipping docs.
• Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments for timely delivery.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks.
• Route incoming materials to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records using scanning and computer systems.
• Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and packaging materials.
• Handle, move, and ship hazardous materials per company procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and transport providers for efficient material flow.
