Barfield Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Miami, FL to support receiving, stockroom, and shipping operations within aviation logistics.

The role focuses on ensuring accurate receiving records, packing, labeling, and timely shipment preparation for repair and distribution processes. You will handle shipment processing, inventory tracking, and coordination with service teams while maintaining organized records and adhering to company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills with good attention to detail.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Strong teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull objects as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends if necessary.
• Experience in receiving, stockroom, or shipping preferred.
• Experience with the Quantum inventory system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sign for incoming packages and deliveries.
• Create work orders for incoming units requiring repair.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming units.
• Scan and maintain receiving documentation.
• Identify and select appropriate packaging materials.
• Verify part numbers and serial numbers.
• Prepare shipments for pickup and delivery.
• Ensure correct labeling and proper packaging for all shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and inventory management activities.
• Run picking reports to support order fulfillment.
• Assist technicians and other internal customers at service windows.
• Issue parts and consume them against the appropriate Work Order (WO#).
• Process teardown work order parts into stockroom inventory.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the logistics department.
• Relocate parts within the stockroom as needed.
• Print and apply new part labels.
• Assist team members with logistics-related tasks as needed.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with other departments.
