Job summary

Spectrum Software Technology Inc. seeks experienced IT Technicians to support FAA facilities nationwide as part of our Tech Refresh Team.

This role provides hands-on hardware support and requires strong hardware experience and Linux knowledge, with onsite work in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The position involves installing servers, configuring network gear, and providing end-user support, with up to 50% travel to FAA sites.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a technical field or 4+ years IT experience
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and installation skills
• Working knowledge of routers, switches, and networking equipment
• Basic to intermediate Linux experience
• General IT support and systems administration experience
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Ability to work onsite in Egg Harbor Township, NJ
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations and support FAA Centers, TRACONs, and Towers
• Install and configure servers per site-specific requirements
• Set up, install, and configure printers, routers, and switches
• Perform network updates in TFMS Tech Refresh Project labs
• Monitor, test, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Provide systems administration and end-user support
• Support server hardware, operating systems, and network equipment
