Job summary

Spectrum Software Technology (SST) is seeking experienced IT Technicians to support FAA Civil Aviation Programs as part of our Tech Refresh Team. This on-site role requires strong hardware experience and some Linux knowledge, with Egg Harbor Township, NJ location and up to 50% travel.

You will install and configure servers, printers, routers, and switches, perform hardware troubleshooting, provide systems administration and end-user support, and ensure network reliability for TFMS Tech Refresh

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field or 4+ years IT experience.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and installation skills.
• Working knowledge of routers, switches, and networking equipment.
• Basic to intermediate Linux experience.
• General IT support and systems administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations and technical support for FAA Centers, TRACONs, and Towers.
• Install and configure servers according to site-specific requirements.
• Set up, install, and configure printers, routers, and switches.
• Perform network updates in technology labs supporting the TFMS Tech Refresh Project.
• Monitor, test, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Spectrum Software Technology (SST) is seeking experienced IT Technicians to support our Civil Aviation Programs as part of our Tech Refresh Team. This role provides hands-on technical support for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) facilities nationwide and requires strong hardware experience and some Linux knowledge.

Location

Onsite work is required at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, adjacent to Atlantic City International Airport, in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, with approximately 50% travel to FAA facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations and technical support for FAA Centers, TRACONs, and Towers
• Install and configure servers according to site-specific requirements
• Set up, install, and configure printers, routers, and switches
• Perform network updates in technology labs supporting the TFMS Tech Refresh Project

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field with min 2+ years of experience, or 4+ years of relevant IT experience

• Working knowledge of routers, switches, and networking equipment
• Basic to intermediate Linux experience
• General IT support and systems administration experience
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Ability to work onsite in Egg Harbor Township, NJ
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required
