Job summary

Tappwfs is hiring an Interior Mechanic in Charleston, SC to work directly on aircraft cabins, resolving installation issues and troubleshooting electronic components. The role requires 2+ years of field service experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.

You will ensure every cabin meets specifications before flying, coordinate with various teams, and build strong relationships on the production floor. A high school diploma is required, and a technical associate's degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field service experience focused on troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to read CMMs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport.

Responsibilities

• Resolve pick-up items and rework issues during aircraft build and delivery.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty electronic components and damaged parts.
• Coordinate with QA, Engineering, and Leads to keep build quality high.
