Job summary

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is seeking an Aircraft Interior Installation Technician for a full‑time, contract role. The position involves removal, installation, and fabrication of aircraft interiors, ensuring compliance with Repair Station procedures and FAA paperwork.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and installation/fabrication experience, with DOT/FAA program requirements potentially applicable.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Experience ranges from entry level to up to four years in installation/fabrication or related work.
DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program may be required; valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors (galleys, closets, lavatories, panels).
Coordinate with supervision and FAA paperwork; ensure compliance with procedures and sign-offs.
Use tools and equipment (hand tools, saws, brakes) per SOPs and maintain shop equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints/engineering docs and track parts using the material system.
Assist and mentor technicians as needed and adapt to schedule changes.
Maintain safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards; communicate clearly.
