Job summary

Frankfurt-Short-Bruza Associates, P.C. seeks an experienced Interior Designer to join the Aviation Studio in Denver, CO. You will lead interior design efforts for aviation projects, develop concepts, and coordinate with architects and engineers to integrate interior design across disciplines.

The role requires 3+ years in interior design (aviation preferred), Revit proficiency, and NCIDQ licensure or active pursuit. Office-based in Denver with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from a CIDA-accredited program.
• 3+ years of professional interior design experience; aviation projects preferred.
• NCIDQ certification or licensure preferred or actively pursuing.
• Proficiency in Revit is required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Enscape or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to interior design efforts for aviation projects through all design phases.
• Develop concepts, space plans, finish palettes, materials, and furniture selections.
• Translate concepts into durable environments supporting passenger experience and operations.
• Prepare interior drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other disciplines to integrate interior design.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions.
• Research and select materials, finishes, furnishings with sustainability and budget in mind.
• Support construction administration and design issue coordination.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers in a collaborative studio.
