Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Aviation Project Manager to join our Airports Team in Texas. You will help manage and grow our Texas Aviation group, overseeing projects from scoping through construction and close-out at General Aviation airports to large hub facilities.

You will lead proposals, coordinate with regulators, and deliver airfield projects including pavements, airspace analyses, and CIP efforts while mentoring others in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing airport infrastructure projects.
• Texas PE license required or ability to obtain via comity.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple aviation projects and client relationships across Texas.
• Lead scoping, planning, and execution from proposal to close-out.
• Coordinate with design team using AutoCAD Civil 3D and prepare project specs and cost estimates.
• Prepare grant and funding paperwork (FAA AIP and state grants).
• Mentor staff and contribute to business development and pursuits.
