Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Aviation Project Manager to lead and grow the Texas Aviation group, with responsibilities spanning scoping, design, and construction administration for airport projects. The role can be located in Plano or Houston, TX, and involves coordinating teams, managing budgets, and delivering across general aviation to hub airports.

Ideal candidates have FAA AIP experience, strong business development skills, and a PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Experience with FAA AIP procedures and advisory circulars.
• Ability to manage all aspects of airport infrastructure project development.
• Proven track record in aviation project pursuits and client engagement.
• Established presence in the Texas Aviation area with regulators and airports.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple clients, participate in airport meetings, and guide airport staff.
• Develop scope, goals, milestones, and budgets for CIP projects.
• Coordinate resources, monitor progress, and prepare design deliverables.
• Lead grant administration for FAA AIP and State programs.
• Mentor staff and lead proposal development and client pursuits.
• Represent the team in marketing efforts and ensure high client service.
