Zusammenfassung

TEKsystems is seeking a hands-on IBM MQ Middleware Engineer to support business-critical aviation messaging environments. Based in Annapolis, MD, you will keep the IBM MQ infrastructure available, secure, and connected across multiple data centers in a hybrid work setup.

This contract-to-hire role requires strong IBM MQ administration, Linux experience (RHEL/Ubuntu), and the ability to develop automation scripts.

Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with Linux environments (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, and connectivity for MQ.

Aufgaben

• Administer, support, and maintain IBM MQ environments across data centers.
• Configure queue managers, channels, listeners, and security objects.
• Troubleshoot message delivery failures and outages.
• Develop automation scripts for deployments and monitoring.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to integrate MQ.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks for MQ environments.
• Support high availability, DR capabilities, and upgrades.
• Assist with onsite infrastructure tasks as needed.
