Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I with a focus on Pneudraulics to maintain, modify, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems on aircraft. The role requires routine testing, troubleshooting, and overhaul work according to technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities include supporting maintenance on UH-60 and CH-47 aircraft, fabricating components, and performing bleed procedures as needed. OSHA safety practices are essential for all tasks performed in the shop and field

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training preferred.
• A&P license optional but beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, modifies, and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components used to actuate mechanisms.
• Performs scheduled inspections and assists in special inspections.
• Requisitions parts and prepares repair forms for powertrain components.
• Ensures safety and compliance with company policies.
