All Aviation Jobs in Alaska is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a safe, high-performing culture across Soldotna and remote bases. The role partners with leaders to recruit talent, manage employee relations, and oversee compensation and benefits in an aviation setting.

The position balances daily HR operations with practical problem-solving for frontline and administrative teams, while ensuring regulatory compliance and a just culture.

Qualifications

• SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1 year in a generalist or manager-level role.
• Strong working knowledge of employment law and experience handling employee relations in a regulated, operational setting.
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and HRIS systems (Homebase, ADP, etc.).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with high attention to confidentiality and detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support talent recruitment activities for operational and administrative roles, including pilots, aircraft mechanics, dispatchers, station operations, and support staff; coordinate with hiring managers on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations while promoting a just culture and safety mindset.
• Administer performance management processes, goal setting, and feedback cycles; support managers in coaching and documentation.
• Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including open enrollment, leave management, and coordination with payroll and benefits vendors.
• Ensure day-to-day compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
