Job summary

Amazon AIR is seeking a Heavy Maintenance Technical Execution Manager within FAST to own heavy maintenance execution across three fleet types (B767, B737, A330) and carrier/MRO partners. You will supervise on-site 3P representatives, validate workscopes, review ADs/SBs, and drive RTS while balancing cost, safety and reliability.

You will lead cross-functional teams, leverage data analytics, report daily on DSRs, and travel up to 20% to domestic and international facilities to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams
• Experience in aviation regulatory compliance
• 10+ years of experience in commercial aviation maintenance or engineering
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
• Experience supporting transport-category aircraft in a Part 121 environment
• Experience owning technical programs or initiatives end-to-end

Responsibilities

• Own execution of heavy maintenance across fleet types (B767, B737, A330) from induction through return-to-service.
• Oversee C-checks, structural inspections, aging aircraft programs, and modifications with on-site 3P partners.
• Review engineering findings, ADs, SBs, EO/EA dispositions and assess impact on RTS and compliance.
• Drive daily recoverability using DSRs, balancing cost and airworthiness.
• Validate workscope before start and adjudicate non-routine findings and repairs.
• Provide technical validation to support commercial and contractual decisions.
• Align execution with long-term fleet maintenance strategies and report to leadership.
