Job summary

Advanced Technologies & Laboratories International, Inc. (ATL) is seeking a Senior Engineer/Scientist - PhD/ScD epidemiologist to support the MACS Military Aviators Cancer Study, with focus on cancers, affected worker populations, and carcinogenic occupational exposures.

The role requires SME input on occupational exposures to radiation, chemicals, and fumes, oversight of statistical analysis plans, literature reviews, and development of job exposure matrices to quantify exposures in aviation

Qualifications

PhD required in epidemiology, public health, or related field.
Experience in cancer epidemiology.
Knowledge of occupational exposures and risk assessment helpful.

Responsibilities

Provide SME on occupational exposures to radiation, chemicals, and fumes for study design and data interpretation.
Oversee and assist developing and conducting statistical analysis plans for various studies.
Review job groupings and conduct expert ratings of occupational exposures to radiation, chemicals, and fumes.
Contribute to literature reviews of aviation-related hazards and support crew activity assessments.
Assist in developing job exposure matrices accounting for uncertainty from expert assessments.
