Job summary

Alvest Equipment Services (AES) is seeking a GSE Mechanic in Atlanta, GA to maintain and repair ground support equipment including tow tractors, belt loaders, pushback tractors, deicers, and more. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of hands-on experience with diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently yet as

Qualifications

• 1-4 years' experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC systems.
• Diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair background.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and possess a valid driver's license.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Use MIS to document all repairs.
• Follow safety and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA).
• Participate in continuous improvement and training opportunities.
