Job summary

Swissport is seeking a Ground Handling - Classroom & OJT Trainer to deliver instructor-led and e-learning training, assess performance, and ensure compliance with global and local standards. The role serves as an interim supervisor for new hires in the Ground Handling area across designated stations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in airline ground handling, a High School diploma, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of industry experience in airline Ground Handling operations.
• Ability to travel up to 10% across the United States and Canada.
• Must be able to pass security clearance and possess a valid driver's license.
• Strong communications skills and ability to influence without authority.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed training in instructor-led and virtual formats.
• Oversee Ground Handling Classroom & OJT including final assessment and sign-off.
• Follow Swissport policies and safe work procedures.
• Monitor best practices and conduct internal quality assurance activities.
• Maintain training records and coordinate with HR/Operations for new hires.
