Swissport International AG in the United States seeks a Ground Handling - Classroom & OJT Trainer to deliver airline-specific training, signoffs, and evaluate employee performance across stations. You will supervise new hires in training and ensure compliance with Swissport standards while maintaining operational proficiency.

The role involves classroom and on-the-job instruction, development of training materials, and collaboration with regional managers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of industry experience in airline Ground Handling operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% across US/Canada for job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed training in instructor, e-learning, and on-the-job formats.
• Oversee Ground Handling Classroom & OJT including final sign-off.
• Follow Swissport policies and SSOW/SOP procedures.
• Monitor best practices across the station and conduct audits.
• Assess staff competence and provide objective coaching and feedback.
• Report training activity and coordinate with HR/Operations.
• Deliver initial and recurrent training per global/local standards.
• Assist with New Hire tracking and onboarding processes.
• Support nearby stations as needed.
