Job summary

ALVEST is seeking a Test & Control Technician in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to join our manufacturing team. You will test, troubleshoot, inspect, and validate ground support equipment prior to shipment, evaluating electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in active inspection, preferably final product inspection.
• Industrial or automotive troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system diagrams.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of completed units and subassemblies, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system faults, determine root causes, and verify corrective actions before product release.
• Conduct final inspections and evaluations of products prior to customer shipment.
• Document test results, inspection findings, and nonconformances while maintaining accurate quality records.
• Support ISO Standards implementation and help maintain the Quality Management System.
• Follow all plant safety requirements and personal protective equipment guidelines.
