Job summary

Accelera is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our testing group in Wisconsin. You will troubleshoot and perform failure analysis, supporting the Testing Department to resolve production test challenges and improve quality within our Smart Manufacturing environment.

You will work with Test Engineers on station configuration, develop SOPs, and ensure documentation remains up-to-date while maintaining safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Basic interpretation of test logs from production tests.
• Foundational knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments.
• Experience with networking hardware like switches.
• Familiarity with PC components and electrical schematics.
• Ability to maintain productivity under high-pressure deadlines.
• Adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Resolve production test problems escalated by Repair Technicians.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting on testing fixtures.
• Monitor and optimize performance of testing stations.
• Develop SOPs for manufacturing test operators and testers.
• Maintain and revise documentation for testing operations.
• Log test failures to improve overall quality.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers on station configuration.
