Job summary

Swissport is seeking a Heavy Equipment & Fleet Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse fleet of ground support equipment at our Phoenix-area facility. No aviation experience is required as training will be provided for airport-specific systems.

We offer $26.00-$32.00/hour, full-time benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Trade school training or mechanical background preferred.
• Willing to travel for training.
• Good communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain airport ground support equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance per established schedules.
• Respond to emergency service calls and incidents involving GSE.
• Complete all maintenance/repair documentation per SP requirements and safety guidelines.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions year-round.
