Job summary

Swissport International AG in Orlando, FL is seeking a Heavy Equipment & Fleet Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a broad range of airport support vehicles and equipment. No aviation experience is required; training will be provided on airport-specific systems.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel for training.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Trade school training or equivalent mechanical background.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive GSE equipment – motorized and non-motorized.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedules on ground support equipment.
• Provide diagnostic assessment of GSE as required.
• Follow safety guidelines for equipment handling and environmental compliance.
• Complete maintenance/repair documentation per SP and authorities.
• Respond to emergency service calls and incidents involving GSE.
