Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure the daily airport operation runs safely, efficiently and cost-effectively. You will supervise and coordinate team activities, mentor employees, and assist in recruiting and scheduling to keep the station performing at a high level.

This role offers flight privileges after 30 days, comprehensive benefits, PTO, a 401k with company match, and opportunities for performance bonuses in a dynamic ground handling environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possesses a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates team activities related to the operation.
• Coaches, counsels and mentors employees, including issuing disciplinary action as required.
• Assists in recruiting, administrative, payroll, employee scheduling, and general administrative duties.
• Monitors staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of the assigned station.
• Promotes team-building initiatives to develop and motivate team members.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
