Job summary

Unifi Aviation is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective daily airport operations. You will oversee teams, coordinate activities, and maintain high safety standards in a dynamic environment.

The role requires supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain required credentials. Candidates with aviation or ground handling experience are preferred, with shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possesses a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates team activities related to the operation.
• Coaches, counsels and mentors employees, including issuing disciplinary action as required.
• Assists in recruiting, administrative, payroll, employee scheduling, and general administrative duties.
• Monitors staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of the assigned station.
• Promotes team-building initiatives to develop and motivate team members.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
