Job summary

Amentum is seeking a skilled Mechanic to support Aircraft Ground Equipment in a dynamic shop environment. You will diagnose, repair, and service AGE/GSE and light vehicles, using drawings and schematics to guide modifications and parts replacement.

The role requires 3+ years in AGE/GSE maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a US Passport and Public Trust clearance. International travel may be involved, and safety is emphasized in all tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years AGE/GSE maintenance experience.
• Able to inspect, repair, and operate ground support equipment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and operate a government vehicle.
• Position may require domestic and international travel.
• Must obtain and maintain a US Passport.
• Must obtain and maintain a Public Trust US Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains AGE/GSE; performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and tests.
• Disassembles and reassembles components; performs corrosion treatment and reinstall.
• Prepares equipment for storage and mobility deployment; services towing vehicles.
• Maintains records and provides dispatch for equipment positioning to support operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
