Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. is seeking an Automotive/Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic to perform maintenance on aircraft support equipment and vehicles. The role covers troubleshooting, repair, and assembly across multiple maintenance trades, with rotating shifts including days and nights.

The position requires a valid state driver’s license, 18+ years old, and the ability to read and write in English. Excellent attention to detail and safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Valid, unexpired REAL ID driver's license; travel authority may be required.
• Trade certification as Automotive Service Technician or related, or 12 months’ experience in maintenance trades.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts: days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to distinguish colors (red, green, yellow, white, blue).
• Lift items weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Right to work in the United States; fluency in English.
• Experience with mobile ground power, air conditioners up to 110 ton, air start units.
• Automotive inspection certificates preferred.
• Experience in maintenance trades preferred.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment within the facility such as aircraft tugs, tow tractors, belt loaders, power units, and company vehicles.
• Performs troubleshooting and diagnostic work to disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble automotive and ground equipment.
• Completes maintenance assignments requiring skilled journeyman trades.
