Job summary

Inland Group of Companies seeks a Recovery Equipment Operator to support glycol recovery and processing at our on-site aviation facilities. You will safely operate, maintain, and preserve glycol recovery and recycling equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards to deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to read and follow safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of required classroom and on-the-job training programs.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Strong basic math skills for rates, ratios, percentages and measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use hand tools and perform maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles safely in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate glycol recovery and processing equipment according to procedures and safety standards.
• Collect spent aircraft de-icing fluid while minimizing loss or environmental release.
• Monitor, inspect, test, and maintain glycol processing and recycling systems for peak performance.
• Perform quality assurance, sampling, testing, documentation, and reporting per SOPs and regulations.
• Complete preventive maintenance and repairs including components, valves, meters, sensors, and plumbing.
• Conduct truck transfer operations and move fluids between storage tanks.
• Support glycol recovery activities and keep all equipment clean and operational.
• Collaborate with airport authorities, contractors, and team members while following security procedures.
