Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking a Recovery Equipment Operator - Seasonal/Full Time at IAD. This role supports glycol recovery and recycling operations, ensuring safe, compliant handling of fluids and equipment in busy airport environments.

Responsibilities include operating recovery equipment, collecting spent de-icing fluid, performing tests and maintenance, and coordinating with airport staff and contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer proficiency and MS Office knowledge.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Strong math, mechanical aptitude, and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate glycol recovery and processing equipment per procedures and safety standards.
• Safely collect spent aircraft de-icing fluid and minimize environmental release.
• Monitor and maintain glycol systems for performance and efficiency.
• Perform quality checks, sampling, testing, and documentation per SOPs.
• Complete preventive maintenance and basic repairs as directed.
• Coordinate truck transfers and fuel/parts logistics as needed.
• Work with airport authorities and teammates while following security rules.
