Zusammenfassung

CMS Corporation is seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to oversee the construction of aviation fuel storage tanks and related mechanical systems. The role requires hands-on trades background, welding door sheets and tank roofs, and strong leadership of field crews to deliver safe, high-quality projects that meet API standards.

Qualifikationen

Proven experience as Mechanical Superintendent on large steel tank construction.
Hands-on welder/fitter with door sheets and tank roofs experience.
Strong knowledge of API 650 and welding codes.
Ability to lead multi-craft crews and manage schedules.
Experience on aviation fuel tank farms or terminals.
Welding certifications SMAW, FCAW, GMAW.
Familiarity with API 653 or similar maintenance.

Aufgaben

Supervise mechanical construction activities for aviation fuel tanks, including shell erection and roof construction.
Direct daily work of welders, fitters, ironworkers, and other craft personnel.
Ensure adherence to project specs, welding procedures, and fuel system purity requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, QC, safety, and other superintendents to maintain schedule.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, and pre-task planning.
