Job summary

JF Petroleum Group is seeking a Fuel System Superintendent to lead onsite installation of fuel storage tanks, piping, electrical systems, and monitoring equipment. You will supervise field teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specs, and schedules.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to safety, and effective communication with customers, inspectors, and project partners to deliver high‑quality fuel systems on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in petroleum construction, fuel-system installation, UST/AST installation, or closely related field.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer instructions.
• Working knowledge of construction safety requirements and applicable fuel-system, fire, building, electrical, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field employees and subcontractors on fuel-system installation activities.
• Coordinate tanks, piping, electrical systems, controls, and monitoring equipment with project schedules and customer requirements.
• Maintain daily project records, reports, and photographs using Procore or approved systems.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards; communicate progress and issues to the Project Manager.
