Job summary

Customized Mechanical Solutions LLC seeks an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to oversee the construction of aviation fuel storage tanks and related mechanical systems. The role requires hands-on leadership of field crews, tank fabrication and erection knowledge, and a strong safety focus on on‑site projects meeting API standards.

You will coordinate welders, fitters, ironworkers, and subcontractors, review drawings, and ensure compliance with API 650 and welding codes while mentoring

Qualifications

• Hands-on welding/fitter background with field leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of API 650, welding procedures, and fuel system standards.
• Ability to read structural/mechanical drawings and coordinate multi-craft teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical construction for aviation fuel tanks and related systems.
• Coordinate welders, fitters, ironworkers, and other crafts on site.
• Ensure compliance with API 650, welding codes, and quality plans.
• Maintain safety culture, toolbox talks, and daily reporting.
• Mentor junior supervisors and craft personnel.
