Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Dynamic Fuel Superintendent to lead pre-construction efforts on major fuel projects in Tacoma, WA. You will supervise crews, plan piping layouts, manage budgets, and ensure timely completion within safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fuel construction, CDL, blueprint reading, and strong leadership. ICC certification is preferred. This role offers growth within a growing contractor committed to excellence and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience operating equipment in construction.
• Experience with underground fuel piping for gas stations.
• Supervisory experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and grade measurements.
• Valid CDL or driver’s license.
• ICC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a schedule and cost-effective plan for project completion.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on pre-construction estimates and budgets.
• Lay out pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
• Coordinate tradespeople and communicate project assignments.
• Inspect work for quality and timeliness; report progress to owners/engineers.
• Obtain permits and licenses; manage contracts as needed.
• Monitor budget and report variances.
• Maintain records of costs and inventory.
• Cut, thread, and fit piping per specifications.
• Follow safety guidelines and raise safety concerns.

High School Diploma or GED
