Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN.
• Current RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification as required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP completed prior to flight status; CFRN within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment and perform regular equipment/base checks.
• Communicate professionally with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
